So last Saturday night was the Me.dium holiday party and it was wild (although on different level than a Chill Fantastic show).
The theme was tacky Christmas...and there was just no way that I was going to dress up like that!

ROCKME. SESSION: Greg Loiacono of Sensations & the Mother Hips
Dec. 5th at 3PM EST / 1PM PST
Join me this Wednesday at 3 PM EST / 12 PM PST on Me.dium to kick it with Greg Loiacono of Sensations & the Mother Hips in their RockMe. Session!
The online music experience has become an anonymous and impersonal machine. Despite being able to keep in touch via social network pages, it’s nearly impossible to communicate in a meaningful manor. Me.dium is changing that by putting bands and their fans back together and rekindling that intimate relationship. In Me.dium, you’ll be able to access music names in real time. Everyone involved can simultaneously check out the websites, videos and music your artists frequent.
Me.dium’s RockMe. Sessions are like sitting down at a bar and having a beer with your favorite musicians. With the web at your finger tips, you’ll tour their worlds online and find out what makes them tick. So come on in and have a beer with Greg Loiacono of Sensations & the Mother Hips on December 5th.

That's right, The Benevento / Russo Duo will be on RockMe. tomorrow Wednesday, November 29 at 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST.
Well, more specifically Marco Benevento will host tomorrow's Session focused on The Benevento Russo Duo’s unique musical style. David Fricke, Senior Editor for Rolling Stone, calls The Benevento Russo Duo, “One of the five bust outs from [2005’s] SXSW music fest.” Self-described as “an indie-rock band that jammed” and a “jazz-combo that rocked,” the Duo has cultivated a rapidly growing, dedicated international fan base since forming in New York in 2002.

Lol Tolhurst is hosting today's RockMe. Session! Lol Tolhurst right! That's pretty insane! Ha! Join us today, Wednesday, October 17 at RockMe.dium.com at 4PM EST / 1PM PST to kick it online with Lol Tolhurst!
Lol is a rock legend! Check out his most recent bio:
"Lol Tolhurst and Robert Smith would start on a journey that would take them to the very pinnacle of musical success. In adolescence, Lol and Robert discovered that they shared a similar vision to form a group like the ones that influenced them. This simple inspiration would create one of the most influential, critically acclaimed and commercially successful groups of modern times: The Cure. From 1978 onwards, Lol and The Cure would chart an impressive selection of achievements:
- Well over 27 million units sold worldwide
- Extensive touring covering all the continents
- 40 Platinum and Gold plaques in the US, Europe and Japan
- Co-writing many of the group's big hits including "Let's Go To Bed", "The Walk" and "The Caterpillar"
- Over 20 landmark award-winning music videos.
With The Cure's influence on artists growing in greater proportions in recent years, Lol has made major moves in the music industry. He dove back into the studio in 2002 with his new project: Levinhurst. A suave, exotic group comprised of Lol's keyboards, beats, and sonic landscaping against the stirring vocals of Cindy Levinson, the group met critical acclaim with their 2004 debut Perfect Life. It covered a much wider musical range than most electro artists attempt to fill, and please Cure fans and electronic music junkies alike."http://levinhurst.com/biography.html

If you're not familiar with our RockMe. Sessions then read on.
At our RockMe. Sessions we bring in a various kick-ass artists and bands to lead their fans and Me.dium users around the interweb on a virtual tour of their music.
Never before have bands and fans been able to share such a unique music experience.
By participating in the RockMe. sessions, you will be part of a revolution in digital culture and music which ultimately enables newer, stronger, and more personal relationships between bands and fans.
During RockMe., fans are given the opportunity to speak directly with their favorite musicians (or musicians they have yet to discover), interact online and ask questions.
Lol Tolhurst is not the first artist to embrace this platform. Rose Hill Drive, a Boulder, CO-based rock band, recently chosen by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the "Ten Artists to Watch in 2007,” hosted the inaugural week of RockMe. and closed the first online music festival with a live streaming concert. With more bands participating in the future, including Perpetual Groove, Gosling, Todd Fancey (New Pornographers) & many others, RockMe.dium.com is quickly becoming the leading rock venue of what most people prefer to call....the Interweb.
